Another free agent punter that the Buffalo Bills could sign right away is Michael Palardy, who last year punted for the Miami Dolphins. However, prior to that he spent four seasons with the Carolina Panthers and was there in 2016 when both Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane were with the team as defensive coordinator and assistant general manager.

In four seasons with the Panthers, Palardy averaged 45.3 yards per punt and last year saw that average decrease slightly to 44.7 yards per punt. However, unlike Kern or Colquitt, who are both older veterans, Palardy is only 30 years old and potentially could be more than just a one-year option.

Another interesting note, and something that might factor into the Buffalo Bills’ decision for their next punter, is that Palardy is a left-footed kicker, similar to Matt Araiza.
