Wide Receiver (6)

The wide receiver position is one position that the Buffalo Bills are probably going to spend most of their time on before roster cut downs as the Bills have seven players that really should be on the roster.

The first four wide receivers are set with Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, and Khalil Shakir. Diggs and Davis were expected to be starters but McKenzie has stepped in as the starting slot receiver and rookie Khalil Shakir has impressed this preseason that the coaching staff will have to try and find a way to get him incorporated into this offense on a weekly basis.

This leaves three players for the final two spots including free agent signing Jamison Crowder, special teams contributor Jake Kumerow and Isaiah Hodgins, who also has had a great training camp and preseason.

Jamison Crowder is a player that I have gone back and forth on because there is a number of directions the team could take. He certainly could be a valuable piece to the position but he might generate the most interest in a trade and the front office is going to have to weigh this over the next few days.

In the end, I believe Crowder and Kumerow get those two final spots and the Buffalo Bills hope they can bring Isaiah Hodgins back on their practice squad.
