The Buffalo Bills completed their final preseason game of the year on Friday night with a road game against the Carolina Panthers. After a disappointing loss, the focus now turns to the regular season and before they take the field against the Los Angeles Rams, they will need to trim the roster down to 53 players.

While the roster has seemingly been set for a few months now, there were a few spots that were up for grabs. This is the final 53-man roster projections before the regular season for the Buffalo Bills.

Josh Allen, Case Keenum

The Buffalo Bills entered the preseason with these two almost certainly being the quarterbacks on the 53-man roster and nothing has changed over the past three games to see them switching Case Keenum with Matt Barkley.

Keenum did have a tough game against the Indianapolis Colts but bounced back really well against the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, it was another lackluster performance against the Panthers, completing only eight of 13 passes for 46 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.

Matt Barkley wasn’t much better against the Panthers and he didn’t show enough to warrant a change. He should still be with the team as a member of the practice squad but on the 53-man roster, it will be Josh Allen and Case Keenum.
