4 Buffalo Bills on the roster bubble with big performances against Broncos
Duke Johnson
In addition to Blackshear, Duke Johnson also had an impressive game against the Denver Broncos. He finished the game with the most rushing attempts on the Bills with nine and was only three rushing yards behind Blackshear for the team lead with 55 rushing yards.
In addition to the rushing yards, Johnson found the end zone twice and was tied with Zack Moss for the team lead in that category. He also had two kickoff returns for 34 total yards.
Similar to Blackshear, Duke Johnson is unlikely to have a spot on the 53-man roster but the veteran running back did bounce back after a lackluster game last week against the Indianapolis Colts.
If Duke Johnson plays well again next week against the Carolina Panthers, it wouldn’t be surprising if he generates some interest on the trade market and the Bills are able to get a late-round pick in return.
