The Buffalo Bills are going to have some tough decisions to make at wide receiver when it is time to get the roster down to 53 players. However, Neil Pau’u is a player who likely is not going to factor into that discussion and probably will be part of this round of cuts.

Pau’u was an undrafted free agent addition out of BYU and is a big outside wide receiver at 6’4″ but in two preseason games hasn’t made much of an impact while other wide receivers like Isaiah Hodgins have really stepped up.

This preseason, Pau’u has two receptions for 10 yards on three targets and all of those receiving stats came in the first preseason game against the Colts. In this most recent game against the Broncos, he had only six offensive snaps but did play five snaps on special teams.

However, with players like Jake Kumerow already on the roster for that role, there doesn’t seem a path forward for Pau’u this season.
