53-man roster projections for Buffalo Bills after first preseason game
Offensive Line (9)
Dion Dawkins, Rodger Saffold, Mitch Morse, Ryan Bates, Spencer Brown, David Quessenberry, Greg Mancz, Bobby Hart, Tommy Doyle, Cody Ford
PUP: Ike Boettger
The Buffalo Bills offensive line dealt with more than their fair share of injuries during training camp. However, if there is a silver lining it is that the coaching staff got to see some players get extra work with the starters and step up.
One of those players was David Quessenberry who was listed as the starting right tackle on the first depth chart. He has done a good job to this point and if Brown is not ready to start Week 1, then the coaching staff should be confident that Quessenberry can solidify the position.
Another player who has probably earned a spot on the 53-man roster with his play during training camp was Bobby Hart. This might be a surprise for fans who have watched Hart play over the past year as he struggled when on the field.
However, there was a reason the Bills have signed him four times since March 2021 and they finally may have found something with him at guard. He has primarily been inside at guard on the offensive line during training camp and has done a good job.
