5 players on the Buffalo Bills who saw their stock rise during training camp
Isaiah Hodgins
Entering training camp, there was not much mentioned about Isaiah Hodgins. He is entering his third season with the Buffalo Bills after they drafted him in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
However, he dealt with injuries during his rookie season that didn’t allow him to get onto the field. Last year, he was one of the final cuts but was brought back as part of the practice squad. He would get a chance to suit up for his first NFL game near the end of the season but he played only four offensive snaps in the previous two years.
In the final week of training camp, McDermott was asked about Hodgins and said that he is playing his best football.
The question is where might Isaiah Hodgins fit on this depth chart? He has great size at 6’3″ and could be the answer to who is the backup wide receiver on the outside. The Buffalo Bills don’t have a clear answer at this point.
He will probably still have work to do in the preseason to make the 53-man roster but is off to a great start this year.
