3 wide receivers break 1,000 receiving yards

If Josh Allen breaks 5,000 passing yards, the wide receivers will certainly benefit and could be in line for career years to the point where the Bills have three wide receivers break 1,000 receiving yards.

At the beginning of June, I wrote an article making some early predictions and one of those predictions was that I believe two wide receivers will break 1,000. In that prediction, Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis were the two wide receivers who I believe have a good chance to surpass that total.

Since joining the Buffalo Bills, Stefon Diggs has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards each season and it would be a bigger surprise if he didn’t break that mark this upcoming season. As long as Diggs stays healthy the entire year, he is essentially a lock to have his third straight season with over 1,000 receiving yards.

As for Gabe Davis, he has never had more than 600 receiving yards in a season but he is stepping into a starting role. He will certainly have the opportunities and if he is able to match or get close to his yards per reception average (16.4), he should have his first season with over 1,000 yards with what is expected to be an increase in targets.

The reason that I believe three wide receivers over 1,000 yards is attainable is because of the recent play of Isaiah McKenzie. Entering training camp, it seemed like this would be a split role between Jamison Crowder and McKenzie but with the way McKenzie has stepped up in practice, this should be his full-time role.

Each season with the Buffalo Bills Beasley saw over 100 targets and if McKenzie gets a similar amount, he should break 1,000 yards considering he has more speed than Beasley and should be able to pick up more yards on his receptions.
