. . Jalen Ramsey. 1. player. 51.

The top spot seemed relatively easy to pick as Jalen Ramsey is probably the best cornerback in the NFL. He has made seven straight Pro Bowls, a stretch spanning his time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams, while also being named first-team All-Pro the past two seasons.

He is a big part of what makes the Rams defense successful and this past tied his career high in interceptions with four while also adding 16 passes defended. When thrown his direction, quarterbacks have a rating of only 71.1 last year and since 2018 has allowed only nine touchdowns when in coverage.

While Jalen Ramsey changed his opinion of Josh Allen two years ago ahead of their matchup in 2020 and described him as ‘talented’, the Buffalo Bills quarterback likely hasn’t forgotten Ramsey calling him ‘trash’ earlier in his career.

In the first game of the season, when the Rams face the Buffalo Bills it would not be surprising to see Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen challenge the All-Pro corner. It should be an excellent matchup including players who are at the top of their respective positions and will be a highlight of the opening game of the 2022 season.
