Stock Up: Nick McCloud

The end of the depth chart at cornerback was one of the position battles worth watching for the Buffalo Bills this year. It included players like Cam Lewis, Christian Benford, Olaijah Griffin, Tim Harris, and Nick McCloud.

With so many players competing for one, maybe two spots, it was going to be important for the players to get off to a fast start and not waste any practices. Nick McCloud has seemingly been that player with interceptions seemingly every practice this training camp, including on Saturday.

In his second offseason with the Buffalo Bills, Nick McCloud looked like he could be making a position switch to safety, which is where he was practicing at during OTAs.

It looks like that switch may have been temporary as he is back playing cornerback at training camp but that potential position versatility, combined with what he has shown in training camp, could put him in a great spot to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.
