Defense wins the day again

Outside of Wednesday’s practice, the Buffalo Bills’ defense has gotten the better of the offense and on Friday it was another case of that. According to Thad Brown, the offense only found the end zone once on seven attempts inside the 10 with the only touchdown coming on a Josh Allen run.

Right now, it shouldn’t be that much of a concern and in fact, it might be more of a promising development for the defense. They are currently playing with two inexperienced cornerbacks in Dane Jackson and rookie Kaiir Elam while Tre’Davious White is rehabbing and going up against Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, which is one of the top QB/WR duos in the league.

Brown noted that the Elam was able to force two incompletions against Stefon Diggs.

The Buffalo Bills’ offense will almost certainly get back on track but with a new offensive coordinator, they are probably testing different things that they might not have in the past or finding out that they just don’t work.
