It is always tough to get a good read on offensive and defensive linemen during the beginning stages of training camp. With no pads, they are limited in what they can do but A.J. Epenesa is one player who has impressed.

According to Joe Buscaglia with The Athletic, Epenesa was the one player he named that has stood out and would have registered a sack in each practice.

A.J. Epenesa has been a bit forgotten this training camp with the addition of Von Miller and the expected development of Greg Rousseau and Boogie Basham as they enter their second seasons.

Meanwhile, Epenesa has struggled to make an impact his first two years in the league with only 2.5 sacks and 21 QB pressures in his first 28 games.

During minicamp, Epenesa talked about how the drastic weight change he had as a rookie has forced him to change the way he has rushed the quarterback. Now that he has been able to work that out, along with another year in this defensive scheme, this may finally be the year he makes an impact.
