Jamison Crowder misses practice with muscle soreness

For the second straight day, Jamison Crowder missed practice due to what head coach Sean McDermott described as “general tightness”. The Buffalo Bills head coach didn’t seem overly concerned and said it appears to be a day-to-day injury, according to The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia.

However, Crowder was expected to replace Cole Beasley as the starting slot receiver and any missed time to build familiarity with Josh Allen is not necessarily a good thing. It does open the door for Isaiah McKenzie to step into that role and he has seemingly taken advantage of it. Dan Fetes with 13 WHAM tweeted that the speedy wide receiver is going to be a big part of this offense.
