Devin Singletary

Devin Singletary got off to a slow start last year but played incredibly well down the stretch. The way he ran the football really started to give this offense some more balance and at least force defenses to pay some attention to the run game.

Some of the moves made by general manager Brandon Beane this offseason should help Devin Singletary continue this strong play into the 2022 season. The most notable move is the addition of Rodger Saffold, who was a Pro Bowl guard last year with the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are one of the most run-heavy offenses in the NFL and Saffold has excelled in this area according to Pro Football Focus which has him with the 11th highest run-blocking grade among guards since 2019.

Another notable addition that should help Devin Singletary was the signing of tight end O.J. Howard. The addition of the former first round pick should give Buffalo more options in two-tight end sets and give Josh Allen more options in the passing game, Howard also is a good run-blocking tight end.

If the Bills decide to play more snaps this year with Howard and Dawson Knox on the field, it should give Devin Singletary a little more room to operate when carrying the football.
