The Buffalo Bills had one of the best defenses last year and seemingly got better with the additions of Von Miller, Kaiir Elam, DaQuan Jones and Tim Settle to name a few. However, on their schedule this year, this defense will undoubtedly get tested by these five quarterbacks.
Ranking the best quarterbacks on the Buffalo Bills 2022 schedule
Starting these rankings is the first quarterback the Buffalo Bills will face when they travel to Los Angeles to face the Rams in the first game of the 2022 season.
Last offseason, the Rams went all-in in hopes of capturing a Lombardi Trophy when they traded for Matthew Stafford and sent multiple first round picks, a third round pick, and Jared Goff for the veteran quarterback. The move paid off as the Rams would end the season defeating the Bengals in the Super Bowl.
Stafford had one of the best seasons of his career with 4,886 passing yards, 41 passing touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. He continued that strong play in the playoffs as he completed 70% of his passes while averaging nearly 300 passing yards per game and threw nine touchdowns to only three interceptions.
The reason that Stafford is ranked fifth is that he did have struggles protecting the football as his 17 interceptions led the league in that category. When given the chance, Stafford is able to beat teams through the air but he also can be forced into some mistakes that the Buffalo Bills could capitalize on.
