AJ Bouye

AJ Bouye had a breakout season in 2017 with the Jacksonville Jaguars when he was named to the Pro Bowl and had six interceptions and 18 passes defended. He, alongside Jalen Ramsey, combined to be one of the top cornerback duos in the league that season.

However, since that year he has struggled to find the same success and in 2020 the Jaguars traded him to Denver. He would only play in seven games due to starting the year on injured reserve and then violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy and serving a suspension at the end of the year.

This past season Bouye played for the Carolina Panthers after signing with them as a free agent. Since that breakout season, Bouye has only two interceptions and 25 passes defended.

Unlike the first two players, if the Buffalo Bills were to sign AJ Bouye it would be more of a training camp tryout. He would need to show more during training camp and preseason so that he could compete for a roster spot.

However, there is enough upside to warrant that tryout and if he looks good, this could be an excellent bargain signing for the Buffalo Bills that address a need.
