2. team. 59. . . . Miami Dolphins

Brandon Jones, Jevon Holland

Next in these rankings are the Miami Dolphins and a big reason they are second is Jevon Holland. He was a second round pick last year by the Dolphins and his rookie season was impressive.

Holland is only one of two safeties to receive a grade over 80 from Pro Football Focus as a rookie since 2018 with Derwin James being the other player. He would finish the year with 69 total tackles, two interceptions and 10 passes defended.

He was joined by Brandon Jones, who would take the starting job from Eric Rowe, and finish the year with 79 total tackles, one interception, and five sacks. The two safeties combined to lead the league in QB pressures among all defensive backs.

These two safeties are only going to get better as they get more experience and it might not be long before they are considered one of the best starting duos not only in the AFC East but in the league based on what they showed in their first season together.
