Last year, the Buffalo Bills had the best offense in the AFC East even with dealing with seemingly weekly questions about their offensive line due to players struggling and injuries. However, by the end of the year the team had a group that was playing well with Dion Dawkins, Ryan Bates, Mitch Morse, Daryl Williams, and Spencer Brown.

Of this group, four are expected to return as starters with the biggest change being the addition of Rodger Saffold at guard and he will replace Daryl Williams, who was released this offseason. The question is where does this starting five ranks in the AFC East?

Starting these rankings are the Miami Dolphins who arguably invested the most this offseason in trying to improve their offensive line by signing free agents Terron Armstead, previously with the New Orleans Saints, and Connor Williams, who played for the Dallas Cowboys last year.

However, even with these additions the Dolphins have plenty of question marks across their offensive line starting with their two free agent additions. When on the field, Armstead is one of the best left tackles in the NFL but he has struggled to stay healthy and in fact has never played a full regular season in his career.

Connor Williams was one of the top guards in the NFL last year but all indications are that Miami is looking to have him play center this year. Austin Jackson, who was a first round pick by the Dolphins in 2020 is moving from left tackle to right, and with Tua Tagovailoa being left handed he will actually be responsible for protecting his blindside.

This group has potential but unfortunately has too many questions to be ranked any higher entering this season.
