Gabriel Davis

The final player that has a chance to make their first career Pro Bowl this season is wide receiver Gabriel Davis. The past two seasons Davis has started the year as the backup but on both occasions has had a chance to start due to injuries to players ahead of him on the depth chart (John Brown in 2020, Emmanuel Sanders in 2021).

On both occasions, Davis would be the receiver who got the start and played very well. Last year, the former UCF wide receiver played 80% or more snaps in four of the final regular season games and had 16 receptions, 209 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.

If those per game averages are multiplied by 17 games he would finish the season with 68 receptions, 880 receiving yards, and 13 touchdowns.

The talent has always been there for Gabriel Davis but the opportunity is what has been missing during his first two years. That should change this season and in a high-volume passing offense like this one, Gabriel Davis could have a break-out season that includes a trip to the Pro Bowl.
