3. team. 30. . . . New York Jets

Tight Ends: C.J. Uzomah, Tyler Conklin, Jeremy Ruckert

At number three is the New York Jets, who completely overhauled this position in the offseason by signing C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin in free agency and drafted Jeremy Ruckert in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Uzomah is expected to be the starter after having a bounce-back year after suffering a season-ending knee injury in 2020 in the second game of the season. This past season he had a career year with 49 receptions, 493 receiving yards, and five touchdowns.

The spot after Uzomah is likely a training camp battle between Conklin and Ruckert. This past season Conklin had a bigger role with the Minnesota Vikings after Irv Smith missed the entire season due to a knee injury and Conklin had 61 receptions, 593 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.

He will be competing with Jeremy Ruckert, who was one of the better tight ends in this year’s draft class. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get some playing time this year but he could become a starter down the road.
