Greg Rousseau isn’t the only defensive end from the 2021 draft class that has a chance to break out this upcoming season. The player selected one round later by the Buffalo Bills, Boogie Basham, is also in a great position to have a break-out season in 2022.

Last year, Basham struggled to find consistent playing time and played in only eight regular season games. The reason was the Bills had players like Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison ahead of him on the depth chart but with both players leaving this offseason, Basham has a chance to become a key part of the rotation at defensive end.

Similarly to Rousseau, he should benefit from what Von Miller brings to this defense and the position. If Basham is able to remain in the rotation, he should have a breakout season and be another reason the Bills have a drastically improved pass rush this year.
