Daryl Williams – Pittsburgh Steelers

The Buffalo Bills re-signed Daryl Williams to a three-year contract last offseason however he lasted only one season into that new deal and was released this offseason. The former fourth round pick wasn’t released due to poor play but rather he was signed as a right tackle and spent a majority of this past season at guard.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Buffalo Bills try to bring Williams back as he has great versatility with experience at both tackle spots and inside at guard. He could be a great backup and someone the team knows can step into the starting lineup at a moment’s notice and give the team quality production. However, the Bills may not have the salary cap space this year to get a deal done.

A team that could be interested in Williams, and conversely a spot that would be of interest to Williams, is the Pittsburgh Steelers. One of the biggest weaknesses for the Pittsburgh Steelers is their offensive line.

He would be an improvement at either right tackle or either guard spot and certainly would have a great chance to start this year for them.
