Buffalo Bills Special Teams (3)

Place Kicker: Tyler Bass

Punter: Matt Araiza

Long Snapper: Reid Ferguson

As for the special teams specialists, the Bills have Tyler Bass returning who is emerging as one of the best placekickers in the league. This past season he made 28 out of 32 field goals and was perfect on extra points, making all 51 attempts.

The Bills also have Reid Ferguson as their long-snapper, who is consistent and doesn’t make mistakes on the snaps.

The only question really is at the punter position as the Bills have Matt Haack returning but also drafted Matt Araiza in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Araiza has an incredibly strong leg but doesn’t have much experience holding for field goal attempts, which Brandon Beane said Haack was an ‘elite holder’.

This could be the deciding factor on who wins this job but for now, I believe Araiza has the best chance.
