Buffalo Bills Running Backs (5)

Devin Singletary, James Cook, Duke Johnson, Taiwan Jones, Reggie Gilliam (FB)

The running backs are going to be one group to watch closely over the offseason and leading up to the season. The top two spots at the position should be fairly set with Devin Singletary returning as the early-down running back. He will handle a majority of the rushing attempts and give the offense some run-pass balance.

The second spot should go to James Cook, who the Bills drafted in the second round, and he will bring some versatility to this offense as a pass-catcher, either out of the backfield or split out wide.

The other two spots that are also set are with Taiwan Jones and Reggie Gilliam. While they are listed here, they are primarily special teams contributors and have been a big part of special teams the past few seasons.

This leaves one final spot between Duke Johnson and former third round pick Zack Moss. As of this moment, I believe Johnson has the edge as he showed at the end of last season with Miami that he can handle the rushing duties in addition to being an excellent pass catcher, which he has shown earlier in his career.
