Buffalo Bills Draft Pick: Christian Benford (6th Round, 185th overall)

The next pick in the sixth round was defensive back Christian Benford. The former University of Villanova is a big, physical defensive back at 6’1″ and 208 pounds that can match the physicality with any wide receiver.

He also does a good job playing the ball with seven interceptions and 18 pass breakups just this past season with Villanova.

When looking at the selection of Elam, along with the pick of Benford, the Buffalo Bills clearly wanted to add some size and physicality to the cornerback position. They definitely achieved that and with the back of the depth chart wide open, he has a chance to make the roster as a rookie and given some time to develop into a quality backup.
