Buffalo Bills 2022 NFL Draft Day 3 Target: Lecitus Smith

Another position that the Buffalo Bills could look to address but haven’t yet is the interior of their offensive line. They did sign guard Rodger Saffold as a free agent and were able to bring back Ryan Bates after matching his contract offer from the Chicago Bears.

However, they could use depth and potentially find a player that may be able to take over for Saffold, who did sign only a one-year deal, in the coming years.

Lecitus Smith is an athletic guard from Virginia Tech that is described as a developmental guard that could become a starter in Year 2 or Year 3 in the scouting report on The Draft Network. The Buffalo Bills reportedly showed interest in Lecitus Smith at the Senior Bowl and he is a player that might make sense on this final day to compete with Cody Ford for the primary backup spot this season.
