Tight End

The Buffalo Bills have done plenty of homework on the tight end class this offseason which was a bit surprising. The team does have Dawson Knox and brought in free agent O.J. Howard on a one-year deal which seemed to solidify the position.

However, all three tight ends currently under contract (Knox, Howard, Tommy Sweeney) are only under contract through the end of this season. When taking that into consideration, it makes sense to look closely at this position and potentially find a player who could eventually take over as the starter.

Since this is not a pressing need for this season and any tight end drafted may have a tough time finding snaps as a rookie, this is a position they should wait for and find a player who could eventually develop into the starter.

This could be someone like Jelani Woods out of Virginia, who is one of the most athletic tight ends based on how he tested, and the Buffalo Bills have worked out.
