The 2022 NFL Draft is a little over a week away and the Buffalo Bills are likely putting the final touches on their big board and their strategy for the three-day event.

This year, the Buffalo Bills have eight draft picks over the seven rounds.

Buffalo Bills 2022 NFL Draft Picks

  • Round 1 (25th overall)
  • Round 2 (57th overall)
  • Round 3 (89th overall)
  • Round 4 (130th overall)
  • Round 5 (168th overall)
  • Round 6 (185th overall) *acquired from the Carolina Panthers in the Darryl Johnson trade
  • Round 6 (203rd overall)
  • Round 7 (231st overall) *acquired from Atlanta Falcons in the Lee Smith trade

The Buffalo Bills have their original pick in the first six rounds of the NFL Draft and currently are slated to start the draft picking 25th overall. However, with general manager Brandon Beane this isn’t necessarily a certainty as the team is in a position that they could trade up or even trade back at that point in the first round.

In the sixth round, the Buffalo Bills have two picks with their original pick at 203rd overall but also have an extra sixth round pick from the Carolina Panthers. This was the pick they acquired when they traded defensive end Darryl Johnson before last season.

Then in the final round of the NFL Draft, the Bills have the Atlanta Falcons pick, which they acquired when they traded veteran tight end Lee Smith last offseason.

As for their seventh round pick, the Bills traded that pick to the Cleveland Browns when they acquired quarterback Case Keenum. The veteran is expected to replace Mitchell Trubisky as the backup quarterback to Josh Allen this season.
