The Buffalo Bills are slated to draft 25th overall in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Because they don’t have many glaring needs on the roster, general manager Brandon Beane could elect to use his draft capital, or even a veteran, to trade up for a top-tier prospect that could be a starter right away.

However, the back of the first round is usually that prime location where teams at the top of the second round could be looking to trade back into the first. If the Bills were to trade back, it could be to acquire more picks in the later round this year but considering the fact that spots may be limited on the 53-man roster, they may elect to look for future picks.

If general manager Brandon Beane does decide to trade back, he likely does it with a player in mind. These are four players that they may not want to draft 25th but could target a few picks later while adding more draft capital.
