There are a number of former Buffalo Bills players who will be taking part in the new USFL this weekend

The USFL season kicks off on Saturday, April 16th, after a 39-year hiatus. The United States Football League was active from 1983 to 1985 and endured several issues attempting to compete with the National Football League.

The USFL will be a spring football league with eight franchises in its first season. Most of the players in the USFL have at least some NFL, XFL, or AAF experience in their careers. The USFL will also feature some new technology that may one day be featured in the National Football League if successful.

As the USFL kicks off, you may see some familiar names on the screen. The league held its draft in late February, and it featured several former NFL players. Among those drafted were several players who, at one point, were a part of the Buffalo Bills.

Some players spent more than a year with Buffalo, while some spent merely weeks with the team. Here is a list of the USFL players who spent time with the Buffalo Bills.
