3. Buffalo Bills sign Jamison Crowder to a one-year deal

The slot receiver has been a big part of this offense the past few seasons and Cole Beasley has had a few career years in Western New York. The team elected to make a change this offseason and released the veteran.

While Buffalo had already signed Isaiah McKenzie to a two-year deal and he showed last year he can excel as the team’s starting slot receiver, the Bills made another low-risk, high-reward move in free agency with the signing of Jamison Crowder to a one-year deal.

The former New York Jet is an experienced slot receiver that hasn’t had the best quarterbacks throwing him the ball over his career. Even with that said, he has still been productive with an average of 4.3 receptions and 48 receiving yards per game over 96 career games.

When considering what Crowder has shown to this point, and now is joining this offense with Josh Allen at quarterback, it wouldn’t be surprising if this signing is not only the biggest bargain for the Buffalo Bills but one of the biggest bargain free agent signings for the entire NFL.
