Another player who would be a good fit in flag football and could compete with Isaiah McKenzie for fastest on the team is last year’s sixth round pick Marquez Stevenson. The former University of Houston receiver made an immediate impact and showed off that speed in the first preseason game last season when he caught a 42-yard pass against the Detroit Lions.

Stevenson was placed on injured reserve to start the year and returned towards the end of November, replacing McKenzie as the team’s kick returner. That was short-lived as he dealt with some ball security issues.

It remains to be seen if Stevenson can have a bigger issue in this offense, especially considering the depth at the wide receiver position. However, there is no denying this player has incredible speed and would be a matchup nightmare in a flag football game on the Olympic level.
