With this day specifically being full of pranks, the Buffalo Bills got in on the action by announcing they’re bringing a new alternate uniform to Highmark Stadium.

The Buffalo Bills “announce” their new city-inspired jerseys, and they aren’t terrible– even if they don’t see the light of day

While most things should always be taken with a grain of salt, today, everything seen should be taken with a pound of salt.

Especially in the sports world.

Whether it be David Njoku announcing his desire to be traded, Cam Heyward saying his goodbyes to Pittsburgh, or even the Buffalo Bills announcing a city-inspired alternate uniform coming to the field this season.

And to be honest, while the uniforms are clearly just an April Fools’ joke, they’re pretty sweet.

No one loves buffalo wings quite like the city of Buffalo, NY, so these buffalo wing-style uniforms fit the entire feel of the Buffalo Bills.

Even the Bills’ leader, Josh Allen, popped into the Twitter world to give his opinion on the new uniform.

Now, will the Bills actually be wearing these buffalo wing uniforms? It’s usually best for fans to be optimistic about things they’d love to see, but Bills fans should go to sleep without holding their breath too much on this. Even as cool as they’d be, there’s little likelihood that these uniforms will ever be worn.

However, there’s been crazier things to happen in the NFL lately, especially this offseason alone.

So, while it would be a total hit in Buffalo, there’s little doubt that these are anything but an April Fools’ joke to get some engagement on a Friday. And that’s just really unfortunate.

On the flip side, though, maybe in the future, Josh Allen can push a little harder for these buffalo wing uniforms to be a reality. Until then, the blue and red will have to do.
