Buffalo Bills OG Cody Ford

One player who has been a starter but lost that role was former second round pick Cody Ford. He quickly moved into the starting lineup as a rookie and would start 15 games at right tackle in 2019.

Then in 2020, Ford would move inside to guard but he dealt with a number of injuries that limited his impact and he would only start seven games.

This past training camp, Ford returned from his knee injury and would compete and eventually win one of the starting guard jobs. However, he struggled and after starting only three games he lost that role with the Bills moving Daryl Williams inside to guard to create a spot for rookie Spencer Brown.

However, Ford once again could find himself with an opportunity to earn a starting guard spot. The Bills released Jon Feliciano and Daryl Williams and only signed free agent Rodger Saffold.

Similar to cornerback, the Buffalo Bills likely add a few more interior offensive linemen over the next few weeks but as it stands right now, Cody Ford looks like he might have another chance to show he can be a starter in the NFL.
