Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Roger McCreary
With Levi Wallace departing in free agency, finding a corner to play opposite Tre’Davious White is an absolute must. Top-tier prospects such as Ahmad Gardner and Derek Stingley Jr. may be out of Buffalo’s reach, with both corners projected to go in the Top 15.
However, there is one corner that has flown under the radar to some. While he may not be on the same level same Gardner or Stingley Jr, his traits can make him a worthy starter on the Buffalo Bills defense.
Roger McCreary is one of the best cover corners in his class, being able to play both inside and out. He is very physical and sticky, able to mirror receivers and fight for the ball. The only knock on McCreary is his physical limitations, as he may struggle against taller receivers. However, he is a superb press-man cornerback, as his aggressive playstyle is more than enough to make up for his physical shortcomings.
