Prediction for 2022: Seattle Seahawks

The Buffalo Bills released Cole Beasley last week after three seasons with the team. He emerged as one of the top slot receivers in the NFL during that time with back-to-back seasons with over 80 receptions and was named a second-team All-Pro in 2020.

At 32 years old, Beasley is getting towards the end of his career but could be valuable in an offense looking for a sure-handed wide receiver. A team that could make a lot of sense is the Seattle Seahawks.

They appear to be in rebuild mode after trading Russell Wilson and releasing Bobby Wagner this offseason but in a weak NFC, they certainly have a chance at making the playoffs. At this point of the offseason, the Seahawks are expected to have Drew Lock under center.

The former second round pick has struggled with Denver but with receivers like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett already in place, adding a veteran like Cole Beasley out of the slot would be a great fit and could put Lock in the best position to turn his career around.
