4 wide receivers the Buffalo Bills could consider to replace Cole Beasley
These are four wide receivers that could replace Cole Beasley as the Buffalo Bills’ starting slot receiver
On Thursday, the Buffalo Bills announced they were releasing wide receiver Cole Beasley, a move that made sense for the team but also creates a major hole in their offense. The Bills have been active this offseason with the most notable free agent signing being Von Miller but also DaQuan Jones, Tim Settle, and O.J. Howard among other moves.
However, to make those additions they were going to need to create some cap space, and the Bills were able to open up over $6 million by releasing Cole Beasley.
The challenge is the Bills released a player who has played in 60% or more of the offensive snaps in the past three seasons. The offense utilizes three wide receivers frequently and the slot receiver is a key role in this scheme.
These are four wide receivers that could replace Cole Beasley, starting with one player already on the roster.
