Buffalo Bills Free Agent Target: Giovani Bernard

Last year, Giovani Bernard joined the Tampa Bay Bucs after eight seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, and with both teams, he has shown to be a reliable pass-catcher out of the backfield. For his career, Bernard has a catch rate of over 75% with 365 receptions and 2,990 receiving yards.

It also could be an added bonus to add a veteran to the running back position with Singletary and Zack Moss both early in their careers.

The biggest question for Bernard is how much he might have left and if he can play at the level he did with the Bengals. This past season with the Bucs, Bernard was lost in a crowded backfield and had only 23 receptions and 29 targets in 12 games.

If the front office believes this decrease in production was just due to the number of running backs on the roster and not due to him losing a step, Bernard could be a smart move to pair with Singletary.
