Free agency is still a few days away but the AFC, particularly the AFC West, has already gotten significantly better. What should the Buffalo Bills do to keep pace?

Last year, the AFC was arguably the more competitive conference in the NFL with teams like the Cincinnati Bengals, who represented the conference in the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, and of course the Buffalo Bills.

However, over the past few days the AFC looks to have only gotten tougher, and particularly the AFC West. The Denver Broncos made the first move by trading for Russell Wilson and the Los Angeles Chargers have answered back by trading for Khalil Mack.

These two teams will be competing in their division with the Kansas City Chiefs, who made the AFC Championship Game four straight years, and the Las Vegas Raiders, who also was a playoff team last year.

However, the Buffalo Bills, who have their own Super Bowl aspirations, have to take note of the moves and can’t just stand pat this offseason. These are four moves that they should look to make that can help them keep pace with the teams in the AFC West.
