The Buffalo Bills have already released two players this week and these are five more that could be cut before free agency

The new league year for the NFL starts on March 16th and every team will need to get under the salary cap by that deadline. The Buffalo Bills entered the week over the salary cap but after releasing A.J. Klein and Jon Feliciano, they should now be just under this year’s total of $208.2 million.

However, if the Buffalo Bills want to add players in free agency and find ways to improve the roster, they will still need to make some moves. The front office could look to restructure some contracts but general manager Brandon Beane did say at the NFL Combine that it is not something that he wants to do frequently or rely upon.

The other option would be to release some more players but that isn’t necessarily always ideal because then the front office has to find players to replace those who were released. When looking at the roster, these are five players that could be released this week to try and create more cap space.
