Cornerback appears to be a key position for Buffalo Bills at NFL Combine
Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Trent McDuffie
The final cornerback is Trent McDuffie, who actually was teammates with Kyler Gordon at the University of Washington. He also met with the Buffalo Bills this week according to Matt Parrino and said he believes he would be a great fit in a zone scheme due to his vision.
He is slightly smaller than the other three cornerbacks at 5’11” and 195 pounds but that doesn’t take away from his willingness to tackle and support against the run. The scouting report on The Draft Network describes McDuffie as a player that “has good tackling efficiency both on the perimeter and in the run game. He is an aggressive run defender who seemingly relishes the physical aspect of the football game.”
In three seasons with Washington, he did have only two interceptions and eight passes defended but did have 94 total tackles and three forced fumbles. He certainly has the physicality for the position and could be a great addition to the secondary for the Buffalo Bills.
