Cornerback appears to be a key position for Buffalo Bills at NFL Combine
Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Kyler Gordon
Another cornerback who spoke about how he would enjoy the opportunity to learn from the players in the Bills’ secondary is Kyler Gordon out of the University of Washington. According to Matt Parrino, he also met with the Buffalo and said he enjoyed going over his own film with the coaches.
Kyler Gordon is similar to Andrew Booth Jr. in terms of size, he also is 6’0″ and 200 pounds but may need a little more time to develop before he is ready to contribute, according to the scouting report by Lance Zierlein on NFL.com. However, he isn’t afraid of contact and making a tackle and if he can improve in some of those finer details at the position, could be a top cornerback.
"He plays with an alpha demeanor and hitting is definitely part of his overall package. Gordon lacks polish and needs to play with better route recognition and anticipation, but if those elements click, his ball production could be near the top of the league as one of the top playmakers in the game."
When considering the uncertainty around when Tre’Davious White will be available, the Buffalo Bills may opt to draft a player who is ready to contribute right away.
