Buffalo Bills Draft Target: Pierre Strong Jr.

The final player that stood out was Pierre Strong Jr. out of South Dakota State University. According to Next Gen Stats, he finished with a max score in terms of athleticism and was one of two running backs to do so this year, with Breece Hall the other.

He was incredibly productive in college with over 1,000 rushing yards in three of his four seasons and 40 total touchdowns. In his final season, he had 1,673 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns.

Pierre Strong Jr. is a quicker running back and has the potential to be that home run threat that the Bills’ signed Matt Breida to be last year. If the Bills were to add a player like him, it would likely indicate that they believe Devin Singletary can remain that featured running back, and probably more of a long-term answer at the position.

The selection of Pierre Strong Jr. would likely mean he is more a situational player that can take advantage of certain matchups and be that second option to Singletary.
