Another player that made headlines at the NFL Combine was Christian Watson out of North Dakota State. He was a bit of an unknown since he played at a smaller school but that is no longer the case after Thursday Night.

Next Gen Stats tweeted that Watson earned the highest possible grade for athleticism among wide receivers after a 4.36 40-yard time along with an 11’4″ broad jump.

The thing that makes these numbers even more impressive is he is a big wide receiver at 6’5″ and 208 pounds. He is a player that should be able to not only be able to get vertically over defenses but also has the frame to physically match up with cornerbacks in the NFL.

At first glance, the Buffalo Bills don’t necessarily have a clear path to playing time as he is going to primarily be an outside wide receiver, which the team already has Gabriel Davis and Stefon Diggs on the outside. However, this could create some flexibility for Ken Dorsey and allow him to get creative with formations by adding a wide receiver like Watson.
