The Buffalo Bills have reportedly met with some of the top interior offensive linemen this week at the NFL Combine
The NFL Combine is moving along in Indianapolis this week and on Friday offensive linemen will take the field for testing. On Thursday, a number of the top prospects met with the media, and according to reports two of the best on the interior offensive line have said they met with the Buffalo Bills.
Zion Johnson could bring versatility to the Buffalo Bills offensive line
Zion Johnson was a three-year starter for Boston College and is one of the top guards in this year’s draft class. According to Josh Reed with WIVB, Johnson said on Thursday that he has met with the Buffalo Bills.
Johnson is an interesting player because in college he played exclusively at guard. However, at the Senior Bowl he started to show his ability to play center.

This would certainly be a big selling point for the Buffalo Bills. They have a pressing need at guard this offseason but could need a center next offseason with Mitch Morse entering his final year. Johnson could be that replacement if he continues to develop at the position.
Kenyon Green is another potential option for the Buffalo Bills in the first round
Another interior offensive lineman who may go in the first round is Texas A&M Kenyon Green, who Josh Reed also tweeted that has met with the Bills. He is another experienced guard who had 35 starts in college.
Similar to Johnson, Green could also give Buffalo some versatility but actually in the other way. Jordan Reid with ESPN tweeted that some teams see Green as being a potential swing tackle.
Texas A&M OL Kenyon Green says that NFL teams see him as a guard, but some have talked to him about being a swing tackle. Models his game after Quenton Nelson and Trent Williams.

Green mentioned two of the best at their positions, Trent Williams and Quenton Nelson, and he certainly would be in good company if he reached that level. The offensive line is one that Buffalo will have to address this offseason and if they don’t add anyone in free agency, either player who be a great addition to their offensive line and should be able to contribute almost immediately.
