Who might be interested in trading for Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley?

On Friday, it was reported that the Bills starting slot receiver Cole Beasley had requested permission to seek a trade, which Buffalo granted.

He has been a key part of this offense since joining the Bills as a free agent in 2019. He has had career years and over three seasons he has averaged 77 receptions, 812.6 receiving yards, and 3.6 touchdowns per season. He even was selected to the second-team All-Pro team in 2020.

However, this past season he wasn’t as effective and finished with the lowest total in receiving yards (693) and receiving touchdowns (1) since joining the Buffalo Bills. This could be due to the fact that he is getting older, he will be 33 years old next season, but also the Bills having more playmakers around Josh Allen like Emmanuel Sanders, Gabriel Davis, and particularly Dawson Knox.

The fact that his role diminished could be one of the reasons the Buffalo Bills granted his request but also if he is able to find a team willing to trade for him, it would open up over $6 million in cap space. Even at the latter stages of his career, he can still be effective and these are five teams that could be interested in trading for Beasley this offseason.
