These are four free agents at the tight end position that the Buffalo Bills could look to add this offseason
Last offseason, the tight end position appeared to be a position of need for the Buffalo Bills. At the time, there were plenty of questions about Dawson Knox. The former third round pick had yet to develop into the player the Bills thought he could be in his first two seasons in the NFL.
That question was answered as Knox had a breakout season with 49 receptions, 587 receiving yards, and nine receiving touchdowns. He played at a level that Buffalo should now consider offering him a long-term extension.
Even with the emergence of Knox, the tight end position once again is a position of need but general manager Brandon Beane shouldn’t be looking for a starting tight end but a good backup. This would give new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey another weapon that would allow them to be more versatile and run more two-tight end sets.
With that in mind, these are four tight ends that the Buffalo Bills could target this offseason.
