Buffalo Bills Free Agent Target: Chase Edmonds

If the Buffalo Bills are looking for value to fill this role, a player like Chase Edmonds could make sense. The former fourth round pick by the Arizona Cardinals is younger than McKissic and has been a good receiver out of the backfield the past two years.

In that stretch, he has 1,753 yards from scrimmage on 309 touches with 96 of those being receptions. He also has seven total touchdowns in the past two seasons.

While Edmonds would fill a role for this offense, it raises the question of if he is too similar to Devin Singletary. He has a similar build at 5’9″ and 210 pounds and while he is a slightly better pass catcher, it isn’t overwhelmingly different.

The only reason Buffalo may consider Edmonds is if they don’t believe they will sign Devin Singletary to an extension and could have a player like Edmonds under contract to take over that role in 2023.
