Buffalo Bills Free Agent Target: Melvin Gordon

The first player is probably the most complete running back available in free agency in Melvin Gordon. The former first round pick of the Chargers has spent the past two years with the Denver Broncos.

Gordon is a player who has shown to be able to be effective in a running back by committee backfield after spending a few seasons with Austin Ekeler in the Chargers’ offense and this past season splitting work with Javonte Williams.

In the past two seasons with the Broncos, Gordon has averaged around 950 rushing yards, 30 receptions, and 10 total touchdowns. He has done an excellent job finding the end zone with double digit touchdowns in five of the past six seasons.

The last time Gordon was a free agent, in 2020, it was reported by Matt Parino of NYup.com that the Buffalo Bills had an interest in the running back. Could this be the offseason they add the former Pro Bowl running back?
