Another defensive tackle who had a great week at the Senior Bowl was former University of Georgia defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt. Anthony Treash with Pro Football Focus shared a video from practice and said Wyatt was competing with Jermaine Johnson II for the best defensive player.

Devonte Wyatt is typically overlooked at the defensive tackle position as he played alongside Jordan Davis this past season, who is also considered one of the top players at his position this year. Wyatt was productive this past year with 2.5 sacks and 7.0 tackles for a loss for the Bulldogs.

The difference between Wyatt and Travis Jones is that Wyatt is probably more of a three-tech in the NFL and would rotate with Ed Oliver more than play alongside him as that one-tech role that Harrison Phillips or Lotulelei plays.
